Being the mother of a three year old, and having a lot of friends with little ones, I am constantly amazed at the health and behavior issues that can come up. My husband and I have had some interesting, and sometimes terrifying, challenges raising our son. For example, at about 2 months of age, our son who I was breastfeeding at the time, developed a terrible constipation problem. There was a period of time where he didn't poop for 17 days! I was dumbfounded at the lack of information available about a mother's diet while she is breastfeeding and its effects on infant constipation. Nevertheless, I became an expert on the subject. Ever since, I have wanted a website to share this kind of knowledge with other moms.

I have asked my friends who are experts on various other types of fertility, pregnancy, infant and children's issues to share their knowledge as well. We hope you find it helpful and sometimes quite humorous.

Above all else, know that you are not alone and TRUST YOUR INSTINCTS. Besides consulting your physician, the best piece of advice I can offer you on any parenting issue is to trust your own instincts.
